The Ward Entertainment Complex is part of the Victoria Ward Centres and is located in Kakaako, just west of Ala Moana. The flagship of the facility is the Consolidated Theatres’ sixteen-screen movie megaplex. The most popular cinema in the state, the Ward theaters are comfortable, spacious, and feature the latest in audio and visual technology. When movies first open, lines typically stretch down the steep steps that front the theaters. Surrounding the theater are a number of other establishments. Dave and Buster’s is the largest one. The restaurant and arcade features a bar and grill and even hosts nightlife parties several days a week on its open air top deck. Other restaurants like Buca di Beppo and Big City Diner round out the offerings. Although not entertainment in any shape or form, the entertainment complex also includes a number of stores, including Pier 1 Imports, Nordstrom Rack, and the OfficeDepot. A Whole Foods Market is opening soon nearby. These stores benefit from increased exposure created by the foot traffic of customers visiting the complex for entertainment reasons. The Ward Entertainment Complex’s proximity to some of the best Honolulu real estate has made it the go-to option thanks to its convenience, quality, and dependability.
